WIP Wednesday

This is the first completed sock of the year, but since the pair isn't complete, it still counts in my book as a WIP. The pattern is simply called Lace Socks in the Family Knits book by Debbie Bliss. This is my first time working a pattern by her and I have to say that they are more than a little confusing to work. They make a pretty picture though :-)

Once these are done, I'll be moving on to complete my pi shawl. I am only 22 rows from starting the edging, but I can't seem to make myself concentrate on it. Maybe the (almost) instant gratification of finishing the pair will be just what I need for motivation.
